In order to help the fans attend the Wellingborough Whitworth game on Monday afternoon, we will be running a special fans coach. This is to ensure as many people can make the journey as possible from the Dog and Duck to Victoria Mill to cheer the team on, as we push for another 3 points.

Free Travel!

Thanks to our generous anonymous sponsors the Coach Travel is free for all, except those with UCL passes who will need to pay a subsidised rate of just £10.

Logistics

Please note the logistics per the diagram below, and try to arrive in good time for boarding the coach, to ensure you have plenty of time to walk down the Victoria Mill drive. Entry to the coach is at the end of the Drive to the Dog and Duck, so whether you are coming from the WTFC v Irchester United game (kick off 12pm), or just arriving for the feature match, it is conveniently located for all [except the Whitworth's Stewards, but hey ho, and sure they'll see the funny side of that...not  ].

Tickets and Retail Opportunities

Also on your Coach journey, you will be able to purchase Raffle Tickets, choose from a selection of Shop Goods from Tony, and then finally before exiting for Victoria Mill, try (if you can) to get past Joan, who will have Race Night Horses, Sponsorship and tickets for sale.

Please have a safe journey, and enjoy the game.

Note: No drinking is allowed on the coach.

What a marvellous gesture. It's times like this that I realise what a great club that we have. I don't usually avail myself of away coach travel but this is an opportunity too good to miss. I'm getting up early so I am sure of a seat and will be leaving within the next half hour. Will we be allowed to have a sing song on the coach? ;)

Are we having a stop-off on the journey? If not I really hope there's a toilet on-board!

Is Peaksy driving that bus? Certainly looks like his parking ;)

Good to see Starms has moved quickly to cover our defensive frailties - the only problem I see is if we're 1-0 up with 5 minutes to go and we decide to "park the bus" in front of goal, with Peaksy in central defense we'll be all over the place - have you thought this through Starms??? :?

To answer a few fans concerns on today's coach travel:
Trek wrote:Will we be allowed to have a sing song on the coach? ;)
Singing is allowed, but it must be "The Wheels on the Bus", sung in a Geordie accent.
Sara Pascoe wrote:Are we having a stop-off on the journey?
Unfortunately due to the tight scheduling of this trip, the driver has indicated that there will be no stop off, however the Burger Monster will be serving freshly cooked burgers not far from the entrance to the coach, and will also be available for post journey refreshments as well.

AFC R&D Coaches do not have toilets. This is a safety feature, as anyone who travelled on a coach with Ed will agree with.

Yes, parking by Peaksy, ably stewarded by Bob after a few Merlots.

Have a safe journey and enjoy the trip.
