These two aren't an April Fool, I'm assuming?

Will be interesting to see if Cross goes straight ahead of Quincy

Interesting to see where Grainger will fit in given we've already got a tonne of midfield players. Perhaps he'll move Lance up front permanently as he's come on leaps and bounds lately.

Cross seems like a decent signing having played at a good level this season and last.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I could be wrong but didn't Daniel Grainger play some games at left back for the old R & D?
If so, he could be much needed cover for Sam.

Cross has a decent pedigree, and we certainly need another quality keeper given Quincy's ongoing injury problems.

Can't recall him playing defensively but remember his volley well.

The only position that we felt was difficult to cover was that of left-back, when Sam got injured, we noticed there was no natural left footed player available who had any 1st team experience. If Grainger is cover for that position, good signing, however he hasn't played, so doubt he is anywhere near match fit. Also, he may have been signed for his coaching ability. We certainly don't need any more midfielders.

Grainger did player left back for a few games, so would assume that is the position we have signed him for.

I'm sure he played a couple of games at right back under Paul Hart, and he looked out of position, I think once we get him match fit he could be a good addition to the squad if not this season starms maybe thinking more for next season.

Cross sounds an excellent signing, as much as I like quincy but we do need another goalkeeper, I expect he will start on Saturday

All the info you might need on Dan's R&DFC career is on the RDFC1992 website, including his profile and match reports from the games he played in.
