I'm almost certain they'll be more at Spencer tomorrow than home fans at Brackley tomorrow. Their gate will be swelled by Alty that's for sure, but they only took 40 to the first leg!!! :lol:

I think Brackley's crowds would be even worse than Hayes' crowds were when they were in the BSP. It's just a terrible catchment area for a football club. If there is a higher attendance than at Spencer then it'll only be because Alty take loads.

He mentions K*ttering and Corby, yet doesn't even mention us, as an ex-R&D player, surely he's aware we exist and we've got an equally big game tomorrow :?

Just had a look at their attendances, for a team near the top of the BSN they're dreadful, by the looks of things I doubt they've had more than 350 home fans for any of their games this season, I wonder whether Alty will outnumber them

Brackley's attendances in the league this season are:-
Average 382
Lowest 169
Highest 1152 (Chester's visit)

77th in the Non-League

I can see them getting a decent attendance, but they won't beat the number at Spencer.

Remember watching Alty playing K*ttering in a Conference North playoff semi-final at Rockingham Road back in May 2005 and seem to recall that they didn't bring many fans that day.

Certainly will be an achievement to get more at a step 6 promotion game than at a step 2 playoff game!

I feel for them, its my home town team, its a great setup with brilliant comunity links, its just the town doesnt give too hoots about supporting them, if they get a 1000 today they have done well. If they get to the final I am going though.

One thing is for sure there will be more at spencer today.
