Have announced that they WILL be playing in the UCL Premier next season.

Really? Possibly means that Kirby Muxloe wont be coming over then from the EMCL.

Don't think that would happen unless they shifted the other 2 Leics clubs as well and sent Newport Pagnell and Kempston to the South Midlands.

Strange one that because with Wisbech Town's departure from the ECL it will be down to 19 clubs unless there are others to be moved sideways to the ECL. Godmanchester Rovers play in the the ECL and they are half a mile away from Huntingdon Town who are in the UCL.

So the UCL gets 2 Cambridgeshire clubs from the undersubscribed Eastern League and loses 2 Leicestershire sides to the usually oversubscribed Midland Alliance, doesn't make much difference to us but seems a bit odd.

So hang on, does this mean the league will be even-numbered at 22?

Only if Kirby Muxloe (or another club) are transferred. Otherwise it will be 21 as this season.

I believe Kirby Muxloe were always against any transfer, they'd be livid now Shepshed and Quorn have gone.

I think Daniel Chillingworth plays for Godmanchester!

Gutted that Shepshed and Quorn have gone, they were my two "local-ish" away games I was planning to go to next season. :(
