Northern League 2013-2014 have their fixtures already

Its interesting to note that the Northern League, which includes Ashington, have announced their fixtues for 2013-2014 for the whole of the season. Why are the UCL not able to do the same?

Teams very rarely apply for promotion from the Northern League and they aren't subject to the geographical changes that we are

Indeed - I think they just have a template they use season on season.

The UCL doesn't even know how many teams it will have in each division yet, with Godmanchester's appeal still pending. Add to that the fact that there are three or four weekends early in the season that may be taken up with FA Cup or FA Vase games for some of the teams (along with groundsharing, floodlighting and cricket issues), and even those who think the UCL don't do themselves any favours with their fixtures policy wouldn't expect them to decide on the fixture lists this early and then need to adjust them before the season even starts when the FA draws are made.
