I know we all "love" Joan (Mrs Stagman) for the way she helps us to part with our money, but today we saw a side of her that really impressed, and to be honest put a lot of men to shame.
The way she handled the gentleman who had had a bit too much to drink was amazing!!
When I saw her approach the situation I half expected her to deliver a" Glasgow kiss" but no she gave them a stern lecture and calmed the situation admirably.
Well Done Joan!!

The lad involved used to come to Nene Park but has moved way to Kings Lynn, but unfortunately had a lot to drink before he even got to the ground.so i would imagine we will probably not see him again

He's registered on this forum and used to contribute a few years ago although hasn't so much as logged in since April 2012.

They're NOT welcome if they're going to behave that way on more than 1 occasion. Our volunteer stewards do not need that kind of situation to deal with. We're a family, community club and that kind of behaviour (especially outside the ground afterwards) can be very intimidating & scary, especially to children.

Well done to Joan who did her best to diffuse the situation, I agree that volunteers should not have to deal with that kind of behaviour! I know us singers come in for some criticism on occasions but I like to think we know where to draw the line (most of the time  ) His behaviour was condemned by us lot and I personally hope that he never attends a game ever again. It's a good job that the stewards got it under control as I think there were a few people ready to 'deal' with him.

your right robin

I was just saying that ,to diffuse the situation,i didn't want it to become like it did with the "singers"
they actually sat(and tried to sing  )in the chairmans area in the peter ebdon stand,im surprised the welly chairman/vice chairm didn't say anything
