What do we reckon? First game, weather forecast for a decent day, high expectations from the AFCRD faithfull for this season so I'm going for 625 as there will be a few folk still on holiday.

I don't see it being that high. Market Deeping isn't the easiest of places to get to without a car. It's not dissimilar to Bourne, and there were only 256 paying fans at that game (and a coach was run to that game too). I think 400 would be a good turnout, but it might be nearer 300 because of the holiday season.

Indeed - Bourne have tweeted a picture of their new fence which they seem very proud of.

425 at Bourne but that was getting towards crunch time of season. Allowing for holidays which could be up to 30% of regular supporters, though it would appear that AFC R&D fans are less likely to take holidays and miss matches than players are :o
Deepings low last season 56 high 240 average 99, so factoring all above X left footed players in squad, + UCL Committee over 75 - clear cut chances missed last season - points dropped by Oadby in April and factoring in everyone may not get there if they use the same sat nav the Northampton based players used on Tue night to find Biggleswade  I would go for 447, followed by 549 on Tue at home.
PS Have Oadby won anything yet this season, I know it`s early but they are the premature boys

They reported a couple of weeks back that, unfortunately, this was vandalised during it's erection.

I reckon around 350-400.
As already mentioned, it's not going to be the shortest trip we'll make this season, but the novelty of the first game of the season, plus a chance to see how we can perform against one of the more fancied sides in the division, should mean it's over 350.
Should be a cracking atmosphere regardless, and I for one can't wait!!

It's an easy trip by car from Rushden, not sure about all these glory hunters from places like Cambridge though ;)
