Have they officially withdrawn from the league or are they still attempting to get a team together?
if they only have the youth players they used last season they may be able to give Sileby a game!!!

Re: Woodford Town
The UCL published its newsletter last weekend, which stated:-
"Woodford opt for further drop
In a shock eve of season move Woodford, last season’s Southern League Central Division bottom markers, requested that they be placed in Division One for the 2013-14 season. The league has agreed to the club’s request which enables them to preserve their membership of the league.
After losing every game last season the Reds were hoping for a change of fortune in new surroundings, but there was a pre season blow when Mark O’Callaghan, recently handed the reins for a second spell in charge, was forced to step down from the post through ill health.
Chairman Andy Worrall will now take charge until a permanent replacement can be found."

It's Woodford United by the way - Woodford Halse is a village on the edge of Northants.

Re: Woodford Town
It just gets worst for Woodford. Today they were hammered 6-0 at home by Rushden & Higham and have played 2 games with a negative goal difference of 13 goals. Makes you wonder if they will get a point this season?
