Tonights results...

Yes i know there is another thread on this, but we can't underestimate how important these results are tonight.
I cannot believe York and Oxford have lost. K*ttering have lost. AFC have lost. This is crazy!
We (and arguably Stevenage) are the only teams showing any consistancy at the moment. Luton are making hard work of games, but forget them because i think they will be up there at the end.
I reckon there is a genuine chance the play-offs can be sealed by the last day. If we keep this up, York, K*ttering, AFC, and Mansfield could well be too far adrift to worry about.
A win on saturday is a must! K*ttering are away at Oxford, York are away at Altrincham, and Luton are at home to Wrexham. All tough games.
Come on Diamonds!!!!!!

Maybe a good Luton run isn't a bad thing for us.
Could mean that on the last day they are already guaranteed a playoff place, thus resting players against us.

Non Diamonds goals I've gone mental at this season:
1) Leeds' second goal in that replay against K*ttering.
2) Crow's goal on the radio tonight.
3) Seeing Salisbury's second come up on SSN.
Anyone else? 8-)

Precisely. Also, if Stevenage, Oxford and Luton push further away from us, there are still 2 play-off places up for grabs. I'd certainly expect us to be one of those 2.
K*ttering - Not good enough IMO.
York - Won 1 out of last 9.
Mansfield - 6 point deduction due to Chester.
AFC Wimbledon - Form is so inconsistant
Unless York sort themselves out, who will challenge us? Let alone 2.

First two definite yes!
Third was met with a hearty cheer and a punch of the fist, but it doesn't justify 'gone mental'.

Very good point.
I can see York bucking their idea up - their bad form has to end some time.
The other three however, don't seem such a threat.
If it wasn't for Mansfield losing 6 points I'd say them, but I think they've lost too much ground now.
The other two just don't seem to have it in them.
So my final 5:
1. Stevenage
2. Oxford
3. Luton
4. York
5. Diamonds
This is the FIRST time this season I have predicted us to make the playoffs. Even before tonight I'd have gone with others.

5th Harry?! We're better than 5th! 3rd is where we'll be.

I put 4th originally. I am incredibly pessimistic. It took a lot, and I mean A LOT, for me to put us 5th. ;)

York fan on Grass Roots forum:
"We've f*cked it.....
We have far to many injuries and our squad player arn't up to the challenge.
We need to bring in a few loan signings to keep us going until the end of the season.....sharpish
Can't believe we are chucking it away so late on in the season. Oh well, always next season "
