Anyone going - or have we all forgotten about this because of Saturday?!

Unfortunately I'm keeping my powder dry until Saturday. Will there be any Radio Diamonds for this?

What do people think the team will be? Are we taking this seriously?

I can't make it as the Mrs is out, I would like to take this seriously as it is an opportunity to progress and play K*ttering (thats if they survive past next Monday).

I shall be there. Guess Starms with give minutes to squad fringe members once again. I'm sure, however, that the Doughboys will be giving it top priority. Not so sure about us though.

Hopefully fringe players again, give the main men more recovery time so that they're ready for a return to league action on Saturday. Don't really care if we progress, happy enough with the League and Vase.

I expect the team to be similar to last weeks v Huntingdon. Welly did not have a UCL match last Saturday so will probably want to give most of their first team a run out and maintain their 100% record against us.

Something which will make the team selection a bit more interesting are the rules of the NFA cups which, in a nutshell, say that if a player plays for a club in a competition (e.g. the HSC) then he will not be eligible to take any further part in a more junior, county, saturday competition (e.g. the LUJC).

With the U21s progressing in the LUJC on Saturday, selecting the same squad as last Tuesday night would remove 5 of the players who started for the 21s on Saturday and hence decimate them ahead of the next round. So the management have a balancing act on their hands in terms of ensuring that both teams are competitive in the county cups.

Jamal's out with an ankle knock and Gilly might be out too. Deaks will probably start with AN Other. Expect starts for Denty, Wizz, Gearing (?), McBride, and Quincy.

At the risk of taking Trek / Utto's role in Twitter feed reading, I note one from Mason Thomas which seems to be saying he's going to be out of the game for 12 months. That's a real shame, as he looked a feisty prospect when he came on last week.
