It will be interesting to see how the Dog & Duck pitch holds up with all the heavy rain over the last couple of days with more forecast for today. Is there any standing water at present? Tomorrow's forecast is for a dry day.

I'm very concerned about the attendance tomorrow due to the England game. Could be sub 250. I'll be there though.

I would not be sorry if tomorrow was cancelled because of weather. Not only because of crucial England match but I believe the players may need a longer break after the exertions of Saturday.
PNS could not be playing us at a better time.
I believe the UCL need to look ahead when scheduling matches midweek to see when England are playing. If England don't win tomorrow they will be in the playoffs on Nov 19th...when we play Yaxley.

Like many people have said, if you would rather be an armchair supporter then stay at home. And when you think youve heard it all a comment like this is thrown in. I'm sure the football leagues have enough stress at the start of the season to worry when England may or may not be playing when organising fixtures. I'm sure in fact that's probably the least of their worries

Only one place I'll be and it won't be at home watching England.
I'd rather watch AFC over England any day of the week. We'll only end up being disappointed again by going out in the Quarter Finals against Germany, or Argentina!

Perfectly reasonable comment from sussexdiamond IMO. Football league clubs frequently used to change kick-off times (or the day the game was played) because of England fixtures when they used to be on Saturday's.
When you get 30-40 at your games and you lose 30-40% of that it is not significant, as is the case with a lot of UCL sides. But when you've got 500 coming to games as we do, a 30-40% reduction on what we might normally expect is a massive hit.

One thing is for certain, IF our game is on and doesn't succumb to the heavy rain, then I shall be at the Dog & Duck rather than watching our national team 'huff and puff' getting frustrated by a side with nothing to play for other than pride.
Those that want to stay at home then let them. Free country all that and I guess they'll all be out again when we have a 'big match' singing 'Rushden till I die' unless, of course, England are playing at the same time.

Well on the nights England are playing and people would rather stay at home, why don't the 200 or so donate their gate money to the club, then it's a win win and everyone's happy
