Yeah I almost certainly won't be able to make either of those 2 long away fixtures, but at least they're not on Tuesday nights.Drunken Debanker wrote:Furthest away trip 4 days before Christmas how nice of them!!!:? :x

Oh and sorry to be pedantic, but it should read Thursday 26th December, rather than Tuesday.
Thing is if the weather was anything like last year it won't go ahead anyways. There is bound to be postponements. We were in a state of panic last year having such a backlog so I needn't worry, the British weather will play havoc as usual :lol:sussexdiamond wrote:Why do we need a match on 28th Dec? Is it just us playing? I would have thought the players who are not professionals should have been given a break.
As things stand at present we have no problem with completing fixtures and we look like having only about 15/16 UCL fixtures in new year. I hope we get a good FA Vase run to compensate.
TBH it's not that dramatic an odds shift, bearing in mind we started at 40/1, Marske United (lower odds than us) were knocked out and Shildon and West Auckland (joint 3rd favs and favs respectively) have been drawn against each other in the 2nd Round. If West Auckland were to lose along one of Spalding or Spennymoor (both face away ties) then I think our odds would probably be in a single digit. I just hope we can get to at least the 4th Round this year and get the bye for next season.corby diamond wrote:On the vase subject I notice the odds for us to win has been slashed dramatically. But got a feeling this second round match could be a tough one
