So who is out of contract then?

Byrne, Akurang, and Louis are obvious.

I'm 99% certain Wolleaston, Terry, Robinson, and Osano only have a couplen of months left too.

Good management - keep them dangling, wait to see what they deliver for us, keep them on their toes !! IF we go up, we may need to strenghten the squad anyway.

I had a look on the website and Osano, Porter, Downer, Wolly, Mcnamara, Corcoran and Terry all run out in summer. We have an option over a 2nd year for Pattison. I couldn't find anything for Stuart, O'Connor, Farrell or Robinson, and I'm assuming Cousins, McGuiness and Day all run out in summer too.

The only players who definatley are not are Dale, Tommo, Smith and Beecroft, whose contracts run out next year.

Personally I think the majority of the squad should be kept regardless of whether or not we get promoted. I'm sure this squad, with a few additions, would be competitive in League 2 if we get promoted, or can equal our current success if we don't.

I think we should get the bulk of the squad signed up for next year, and the players we bring in over the summer depends on our success this season.

I think we need to look to get rid of Cousins, and probably McGuiness and Day. I just dont like Cousins, and my thinking behind the other two is that if JE thought that had a future at the club, surely he would have given them more oppurtunities, although it is difficult for a GK I admit

Not sure if this is a good move or not, I'd hate to see any of those move on in the summer. Especially Downer, Osano, Terry, Porter. I think the squad we have is championship quality, it's just that it took a bit of time to gel early on so we had some questionable results like Salisbury. Re-sign them all apart from Cousins and McGuiness and assuming we don't go up this year I think we would have an excellent chance next year.

I stand my by comment. ;) Had we beaten shit like Salisbury and FGR then right now we'd be up there challenging Stevenage and Oxford.

Yer, I know what you mean. There are 5 results that really pee me off with the capabilities of our squad. Gateshead and Ebbsfleet away, AFCW, Salisbury and York at home.

The squad is good. It underperformed a bit at the start of the season, it's probably over performing a little at the moment, meaning we'll probably get a fair final finishing position as a representation of the quality of the squad.

We don't have enough up front to top the table put simply. Just a 20+ goal a season man and we'd be there, I mean this in terms of out and out strikers like Brodie or Constable, not Tomlin who may still get there but will have to do well for the remainder of the season to do so.
