NP & Rockinghorse

After the dismissal of Case 2015 it looks like 2 local Clubs are now clear of the dreadful ailment that has blighted them in recent years. On Ploppynet under last court case mention is made of the 2 empty grounds. White Van Man appears to be their official voice of "common sense & reason" yes let's all move on, could even organise a joint demolition party to speed the removal of both from the landscape  though don't get me wrong the will always be room for back handed digs, polite enjoyment in the others failure and cross party banter.
On that note, was nice to see The Flamingo enjoying our defeat last night, still sure he's basking in the glory of his enormous contribution to all his new Clubs league wins this season & the high praise that is bestowed upon him weekly by the supporters.

I heard that Nene Park was hopefully going to have an application submitted to use the stadium as a greyhound racing venue, with all the suites available to convert as a seated restaurant, as they have at Peterborough. It would certainly make good use of what is considered a decent set-up.

Not bothered - they'll never get a penny from me and I'd urge all football fans of both clubs to have the same thoughts !!

Can anyone in the area confirm that today the KTFC name etc is being/has been removed from NP.
How long then before "Nene Park Greyhound Stadium" appears in neon lights. Possibly snooker there on a Wednesday night, the options are endless, well not quite as one thing will never happen there again.

Wouldn't it require a massive redevelopment to work as a greyhound venue? It would have to go someway to compete with Peterborough, so I can't see why anyone would even try.

I'm going to guess it'll be some nice warehouses. 8-)

A greyhound venue would be apt as it has certainly gone to the dogs

Max once had the idea for a greyhound stadium on the land around the stadium and they had a company look into the viability and it was rejected as not worth the investment.

Greyhound tracks are not in vogue and some are closing or have closed plus you have the protest groups that will kick off about a new greyhound stadium being built.
