The fixture news page now includes these fixtures in the downloadable list - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/fixture-news

It does tend to highlight the fixture compilers haven't been too kind to us in the build-up to the big FA Vase game against the Prims, when they decided to cram in eight consecutive weeks of Saturday / Tuesday games before it - and yet there is the prospect that after it there will be no need for further midweek games for the rest of the season. There will be only nine league games remaining for the 13 weeks in the February / March / April period, with scope on four potentially blank Saturdays as well as in 12/13 midweek slots to cater for any postponements / extra games.

It may not be a case of not being kind to us Formic, but possibly more a case of, they may not do as much joined up thinking regarding these issues as some supporters do. Some of our players will by the end of Nov have spent close to 40 hours on the pitch.
The following round of the Vase is 18th Jan, I`m sure The UCL would love to see both Spalding & Us in the last 32, not forgetting Huntingdon, if we are both there, both teams could face the possibility of a reply on Tue 21st (distance from opposition permitting) so what is planned for Sat 25th Jan, what could possibly be one of the games of the season, AFC R&D V Spalding

We would also be kidding ourselves if we thought there would be no cancelled/postponed matches as a result of the weather. The free dates will then be suitable for rearranged matches, although you can expect a few Saturdays free, because the FA are likely to schedule the rearranged matches for a Tuesday.

I didn't think for a minute that would be the case - but find it very unusual / unique that a season is planned with the potential that there won't be enough games to fill the available Saturday slots. Its usual for the midweek slots to be used for rearranged games, and there are already free midweek slots for the forthcoming round of the Vase - and for the next round if we get through.

Put a positive spin on it Formic, the UCL fixtures secretary must feel confident we are going to North London on 10th May so is aiding us by avoiding an end of season fixtures backlog.
