This will be our 18th league game of the season - taking us to the halfway point in terms of league matches.
It's rather a contrast with some leagues whose main cup competition is still to come - for example teams in the Championship still have up to 30 league games to play, as well as the FA Cup and the possibility of league playoffs.

At the start of the long Sat-Tue-Sat run I thought that there would be a few postponements and that some of the games wouldn't be played. I'm quite surprised that we've managed to get through it without one, even if it's November and not January. I like the brisk pace of it.

Something that I've been suggesting for years is for the league fixture secretary to make more use of evening fixtures prior to the end of November. This has happened this season as a result of our 12 FA Cup and FA Vase matches played. Obviously we could still have fixtures postponed in the coming three months as winter sets in but there are sufficient spare Saturday's without having to play catch up fixtures every few days in April.

I wonder if Starms will make any changes for tonight considering our forthcoming Vase match.
How about giving Rashid Koriya a run out if Joe is not recovered from his knock on Saturday, in fact why not just play Rashid anyway and also give Sam Brown a break.
If Fazal is fit I would at least have him on the bench, maybe even give Ben Morgan 90 mins.
And even more radical, if we were to find ourselves with a commanding lead after say 60 mins, give Adam Whybrow a chance.

Are you Mystic Meg? Sam is unavailable for the first time in 2 seasons other than injury, away doing exams, think RH may have a good point as well, need to rest the old boy when we can.
My wild stab in the dark at starting 11, Cross, Gilly, R. Koriya, Harris, Deaks, Sean, Kingy, Gearing, Ling, Dunks & Alfie. Hopefully get in front to allow option of getting Dunks & Alfie off during 2nd half. And the suggested keeper swap if possible.

Yes seems he's poorly from his recent tweet.

Parky being poorly must be my fault. I too have been sick since Saturday evening, don't want to be too graphic but it was not a nice sight in my bathroom !!.
Get well soon Parky

Off to meet my brother at KFC and then stroll along to the D&D. It will be fresh, and I predict a 3 - 0 win.
