Looking for someone with Graphics Skills

Post by Formic »

As I was preparing the preview for the Boston Town game in 10 days I spotted a useful guide to their ground, and thought it might be time we added one to our Dog & Duck guide on the website, given the various improvements the two clubs have been making.

I wondered if anyone with graphics skills might fancy a go at creating something similar - to help both away fans and those who haven’t been to the D&D for a while.

Here is the Boston Town one - at the bottom of the page. http://www.bostontownfc.co.uk/index.php ... &page_id=8

In a similar way it would include access details for those with mobility issues, pointers for the turnstiles / players entrance / dressing rooms / hospitality suite and help give publicity for the club shop / bars / refreshment points etc.

Anybody who fancies a crack at producing something can drop me a PM. It would be nice to have something in place by Christmas to help anyone coming to a game for the first time.

Great idea, notice Boston has names for all 4 sides. So at dog and duck it would be the peter ebdon stand, peter de banke terrace, kids playing field and the bus shelter

Don't forget to include the covered area down the "dug out" side. Perhaps we could get Premier Inns to sponsor it, they get a plug from Radio Diamonds everytime the ball goes in the car park!!.

It isn't a stand nor does it have a name and thus so isn't on the plan

Just call it 'Covered Terrace' for the time being.

Covered area - terrace infers levels and its flat ;)

Great job, I think the covered area needs to be on it, some people looking who don't know the ground might be tempted along if they knew they'd be out of the rain. Excellent job though, well done.
