I know it's not typical practise, but do the club ever release information as regards finances? Is there any record of the funds at the end of last season, and is there any plan to release any information in the future? I'm not worried that there's any problems, but going into the future, it's important we understand what's going on behind the pitch.

At the fans forum in i think June or July Matt Ward gave us all a balance sheet that gave us a figure as to what the club had put by , also all the income and outgoings which i would not want to go into on this forum. I think i still have a copy of this James

This is the wrong place to discuss this sort of thing and think all diamonds fans would agree

Please, don't misunderstand me - I've no interest in planting balance sheets on billboards around the county, just wanted to know if and when the club released any info on the subject - thanks for letting me know, Mr.Stag!

Any member can see the financial info from last season on the website.

As said, it's all in the members area.

The complete accounts were available before the AGM on the members website.
How much was spent on wages, how much surplus we had etc.
We had a healthy discussion and all questions were answered by the treasurer . The accounts were passed by the members present.

In fact the question was asked at the forum last week along the lines of " What surplus do we have in the bank" and Ralph gave a figure which he said was, off the top of his head, £ .

A public forum such as this is not the place to discuss. But if you are a member I am sure you can request a copy from the club.

The audited accounts ending 30th April 2013 were published and made available on the members forum at the beginning of July. It was agreed and observed by all members that details would not be discussed on a public forum.

We'll certainly make the accounts available at every AGM and providing members want a presentation with some pretty charts and the ability to do a financial Q & A then I'm happy to continue this.

The 2012-13 accounts are available on the members area of the website.

We've had a similar question on finances on the members forum which I'll pull something together to address on there. If any members have any questions am happy to address them direct via email to finance@afcdiamonds.com
