Went to Kempston V Yaxley, Yaxley played the normal 4 up top and ran around a lot, well all except Andy Furnell who has eaten a few more pies since we played them & had his hands on his knees and was blowing out his a se after 25mins. Kempston are a young side with a new manager and put a decent shift in. A few loan/duel registered players, Hitchin being one Club they have contacts at. They may also improve by the time we play them as possibly some of last seasons squad returning, would be disappointed if we didn`t beat them by 2/3 though. game finished 1-1, got cold and wet but saw a few old faces.

Graham St Prims beat St Andrews 4-2, first away defeat for SA.

In Vase Whickham beat Brighouse 1-0.

Moneyfields and Billen probably get kicked out of Vase today by FA

In the Trophy, Conference teams Nuneaton and Forest Gump Rovers were beaten on penalties by lower teams.

Brighouse are 5th in the NCEL prem, so step 6 or not, that result shows they'll be no pushovers, looks like the NL Division 2 is pretty strong as well!
