I hope you are right Paul, but the river is very high (over the path at the Embankment yesterday), and there is standing water in the field next to the Dog 'n Duck.Trek wrote:Very little rain forecast for the area from now until Saturday so the pitch should dry out.
Was passing so called in this afternoon, lots of standing water in surrounding fields & river still over its banks, but was surprised at how the pitch looked. A little standing water in centre circle & boxes but if Treks forecast is correct & dry + wind for rest of week would expect us to be watching "Revenge on Boston" this Saturday.rushdenman wrote:I hope you are right Paul, but the river is very high (over the path at the Embankment yesterday), and there is standing water in the field next to the Dog 'n Duck.Trek wrote:Very little rain forecast for the area from now until Saturday so the pitch should dry out.
I live approx 5 miles from the D&D and it's throwing it down this morning  :(Trek wrote:Very little rain forecast for the area from now until Saturday so the pitch should dry out.
More drizzly rain, I would say its not looking goodsussexdiamond wrote:Whats weather been like today? here in Sussex it has been bright and windy, perfect drying conditions. Should I be planning to return to Northants on Friday?
Being the eternal optimist, it's been blowing all day and only light rain from late afternoon for a hour or so, which will hopefully mean the pitch will be better late today than it was 1st thing this morning. Prepare to travel :Psussexdiamond wrote:Whats weather been like today? here in Sussex it has been bright and windy, perfect drying conditions. Should I be planning to return to Northants on Friday?
