Yeah Rob, you can see some grass by the corner flags if you look closely.

Think that was positive for Rob, reading between the lines of which the was only one, he may well be trying to say. Well done to MH and his gang for getting the game on as Management & team would have wanted a run out prior to this Sat, and given the playing surface was not at it`s best they managed some decent football on it, 525 went to watch what was our 1st game of 2014 so all in all a good day for the Club. Does that about cover what you were trying to get across Rob :?:

Yeah pretty much. That's a good service you provide Brownie.

P.S It wasn't meant as a criticism, just an observation after all the rain.

the amount of work it took to get that game on was unbelievable, we really could do with some more names to give up a couple of hours on a saturday morning to help if possible.

We only need a team of about 8, but if we could have two teams it means it's not the ams people each time and that would really help.

Bozzer is right, everyone enjoys the matches when they're on, but out of a crowd of 525 it's a shame we could only muster about 6 people to work on the pitch beforehand. It would have been good to get a few more so you can work in relays - it's not too bad if you can share the load, but it's back breaking if you have to do it all.

The pitch isn't great and it's a testament to the lads that they played as well as they did !! I'm guessing more help will be needed Saturday so look out for the call - I'm working this week so won't be available to work on the pitch or help out to steward before the game, so anyone who wants to help please shout out - I know your help would be gratefully received and remember - it's for the club !!

Gutted I have to work - lord knows where I'll get to park when I come tearing over when I finish, just hope I make kick off !! :(

To be fair I didn't see a call for help last week, but I'm on standby with the lad for this week.

Pigman, there is always plenty of space in the Homebase car park.
I have other commitments on a saturday morning, but if anything is required Friday pm let me know.
