Sounds good match practice. I know Alfie and Matt Gearing played for the U21s at the weekend, minutes hard to come by at the moment it seems.

A good resolution for both parties I should think

I know this has been mentioned before, but how will this dual registration work with tom... I understand that he can play for both clubs, but is this toms decision? If not then it just seems strange that he can only play for southam in their cup games...(Was that not postponed last night?)

Just reading on their website that they are poised to sign afc keeper tom cross, but mentions nothing about it being dual registered...

I hope we aint seen the last of tom in goal :(

I suspect Southam will have first dibs on Tom for their league matches. It's very close to where he lives.

Think it was postponed, not unless I was looking at an article from last year

Just been on their website and it seems that it was postponed last night and has been rescheduled for next Tuesday

He seems to have his doubters on this forum but I for one will be sorry if it turns out that he has played his final game for us

It will be interesting to hear what Starms/Peaksy's/Parky's reasoning behind the decision to let him go was at the next post match interview (whenever that may be)

Looking at the forecast it looks as though when we do finally get to play again then this will be all forgotten about

I think Tom spoilt us with the quality of his game for most of the time - especially his distribution, which was far better than several keepers we had playing at four levels higher with R&DFC. It's just an unfortunate fact of life for a keeper that a mistake tends to be costly, whereas forward players can miss hatfuls of chances and it hardly gets mentioned.

I think his ability will be wasted at step 6, but if its more convenient for him, and he'll be a regular starter at Southam then its a good move for him.

It would seem that judging from his twitter comments Tom cross has decided to move on and indeed played his last game, slightly disappointing that the club couldn't just say that instead of saying he was dual registered. Sad to see him go to be honest, think he has more talent than step 6!!

All the best Tom :(
