With Holbeach playing last saturday I take it their pitch does not suffer much from water logging.
Does that mean we might just might have a game this saturday!

At last we might get a game and get rid of that St Andrews highlights. It bugs me every time I log on.

Haha, I agree it's annoying me too.
I've been to so many other games since we last played i've almost forgotten what it's like to watch a game where i'm bothered by the result. I think the lay-off will be a blessing in disguise actually and will allow our players to recharge their batteries and go again without the St Andrews cloud and subsequent negativity hanging over them.

Sadly it looks like I'll be missing this one :(
Gutted as I've really missed football these past few weeks - hoping for some dryer weather and to finally seeing some regular football over the coming weeks eh?

It'll feel like a new season almost and its our first game away from the D&D since Boston would you believe
Tbh I haven't minded the break too much after that St Andrews game, I must admit I was struggling to get excited about the Spalding game the week after, so I wasn't that upset when it was called off, so at least it'll be out of everyone's minds by now. Who's in our team again ;)

Little preview I've put on the Radio Diamonds website...
http://www.radiodiamonds.co.uk/
Still a massive long shot but interesting that Spalding have just 3 home games left....7 away....and have to come to the Dog & Duck twice.
We need to be solid and at it from the start against unpredictable Holbeach...

I don't think that it will pose too many problems for them particularly as they have just strengthened again with the signing of Josh Ford from Boston

I agree - I think they'll win the title at a canter now, I just want to beat fat pat twice on the way, the guy a muppet of epic proportions - lets turn them over enroute to securing runners up spot

We would absolutely have to win every game from here on in to stand any chance, but even then I can't see Spalding dropping enough points, though they still have Huntingdon home and away and us away and possibly Deeping away, though I'm not sure about that?
