When will we play Yaxley?

It can only be Tuesday 1st April.
Every Saturday or Tuesday is now taken at the D & D by us or Welly.
Yet we have no game between 5th Apr and 21st.Apr and on Saturday 29th March both of us are away.
The fixtures secretary has a pretty thankless task!!

A Friday night has been suggested. Yaxley have played at least a couple of fixtures at home on Friday nights.

It would be an interesting experiment to play on a Friday night. Not sure if the attendance would be higher or lower than a Tuesday, but worth a go I would think.

I think the powers that be may be on to something about picking a friday - long day at work and school over, bring the kids, have some football to watch and then back home to rest up before the weekend...
Sounds great! Maybe an opportunity to advertise and get some new faces down at the D&D?

I'd say we'd get an alright crowd on a Friday night, the club I watched when at uni (who have a virtually identical support to us) actually gets better crowds on Friday night than Saturday afternoon, so it'd be interesting to see.

We have no match on the 12th or 19th so only nights available are 11th and 18th April, but Welly have home match the next day.
They would only have sat morning to get pitch ready and what if it rains on the Friday evening.

The 18th isn't an option, as Yaxley play on the 19th - at the D&D against Wellingborough!
I can't see an issue with the 11th - many teams that groundshare will play on consecutive days when both are drawn at home in Cup Competitions - and Coventry City have been playing on Sundays at Sixfields after the Cobblers have played there on the Saturday.

It says we will play Yaxley on the 1st April on the UCL website.
