This Season's Home Attendances

We have discussed this earlier in the season, in relation to the attendance listed on the Non-League Matters web-site, where the latest list indicates that currently we are the 60th best supported club for League matches. However, this is approximately 16% down compared last season's final average for 18 home matches.

I needed to find our Saturday and Tuesday average figures for another exercise that I'm doing and I thought fans would be interested in seeing the current figures, up to and including last evening's match. I have included home FA Cup and FA Vase matches which have not been included in the Non-League Matters calculation. This shows a healthier picture which indicates that the average per match is almost identical to last season's average and we still have to play the final four home league matches which I feel will increase the overall average.

Current League Average (14 matches) = 447

Final Cup Average (7 matches) = 588

Current Overall Average (21 matches) = 542

Current Overall Saturday Average (11 matches) = 573

Current Overall Tuesday Average (10 matches) = 406

We're still the best supported team at Step 5 in terms of league average attendance. Top 5:

Diamonds - 447
Spennymoor - 416
Celtic Nation - 341
Runcorn Linnets - 310
Whitley Bay - 294

I think Celtic Nation are professional or are planning to be. Most people who visit this forum probably know about them but if you don't give this a read:
