Clearly a good deal for BPW. One wonders, if Alfie was not under contract, would this move have been made anyway and been more 'permanent' (at least in the non-contract UCL sense of the term).

I know his outburst on Twitter on Saturday was extremely poor and his form in the last 3/4 games has dropped a bit but this is bizarre.

I'm guessing Alfie thinks that his opportunities might be limited with the new guys coming in and starting well, he hadn't shown the greatest attitude with the Twitter stuff, or on the field recently, so maybe he wanted away?

I'd like to see him in a Diamonds shirt again, but I'm thinking it's unlikely now.

Surprised with where he's moved to though, but I wish him well, always liked Alfie.

Gets to play with his friend Dev and then reassess his options in the summer - makes sense to me.

Another big loss, I'm sure he goes down in AFC folklore after his goals against Thrapston, Cambridge City and Dover - good luck Alfie!

Like already stated, that is a great signing for BPW. You would have though Wellingborough or Cogenhoe would have been a more expected recipient

Oh this is one of them topics that gives out the impression that it's a loan thing and in the best interest for the club and he will return. When in fact it should read Taylor moves to bpw!!
Similar to the tom cross subject

Just out of interest can someone please explain this contract business in the ucl because from what I'm reading it seems like it's not worth the paper it's written on. So all it means is teams cannot put in a 7day approach, but yet as long as the teams agree then the contract will be broken?? :( sounds to me like Alfie will not be seen in a diamonds shirt again.

All the best Alfie, you'll always be a fans favourite, and your goal against cambridge will stay in my mind for a long time...top bloke, take care!!!
