I think there was 89 including a few Diamonds fans.

No cheers from us though, as when Spalding were pressing hard to get a draw in the final few minutes they were all caught in the same half and a quick ball cleared over the top saw Huntingdon with a one on one with the keeper which he rounded and slotted the ball into the open net.

Not a very good game and you would'nt have thought this was the top two teams in the league :o

There was a reported crowd of just over 200 at the Oadby/Harrowby match that I attended. Not sure there was that many present, they must have included the players, team officials and ref and linos. :o

Oadby not a bad footballing side but Harrowby reminded me of that Scottish side from Leicester. I expect Eynesbury to get the second promotion spot.

Eynesbury were shocking when I saw them at Irchester a couple of weeks.

Irchy had seven under 21's in the side and the zRoman massive were both predicting a cricket score.

Lee Bassett scored all their goals in 4-1 win and he would be the only one I would even think of getting in our squad

Clearly then the standard in the UCL division 1 is not so strong as last season. On yesterday's performance Oadby won't present a challenge next season.

Was dangerous against us both times last season, scored a hat-trick in the away defeat. Think he scored around 25 last season and has 39 in 36 this. He's only around 26 years of age and would be a decent signing

Bassett and Freshwater were the two standout players in last season's Eynesbury side.

Have they still that keeper that wears those NHS specs? :o

Yes Joe 90 still between the sticks & to be fair not a bad keeper.
Freshy had played about 3 times this season for Eynesbury as he's away at collage.
Watched them V Harrowby the other week, not much of a game.
Not sure about Lee, he's does everything you don't expect him to & doesn't do anything you would expect. Big strong looking lad with a broken nose, who doesn't put himself about and wins very little in the air, that said for a big lad he had bloody good feet & he sure knows where the back of the net is.
