See BPW won 13-0 yesterday. How many did Alfie score?
Can we better that score line v S & L?

Alfie scored 4. BPW's form has however been up and down since he joined.

8 goals in 7 games according to the FA (who still have him down as Aifie Taylor  ), though all those 8 goals have come in 2 games of course have they not?

Got 12 hasn`t he? 4 in his first game and 4 yesterday, + 2 in 2 other games, the 2-1 win V Bug St M, and the 4-2 defeat to Potton.

They hadn't updated for yesterday's results. ;)
Alfie tweeted yesterday, 12 goals in 8 games, 1.5 goal per game. Unfortunately he hasn't scored in those games when they've been beaten. All very well getting a hatful in games against weak opposition, but the odd goal against stronger teams is just as important and apart from goals against Dover and Cambridge City that was the case in his performances in matches over his last three months in our team.
He definitely lost his edge and touch for us, and judging from Peaksie's comments at the Members Forum he felt the same.

Good points Trek, I like Alfie & hope we see him in a Diamonds shirt again, but it would have to be the Alfie of the early part of both of last 2 seasons, but that's down to him & hopefully that's what he wants as well.
As for the stats we all know you can do what you like with numbers, if you ignore the first game & the hammering of Woodford the six game run in between reads.
4 in 6 @ 0.66 per game, 1 win, 2 draws & 3 defeats. And that doesn't read as well.

If Alfie does continue his prolific form for BPW he stands a chance of finishing second in the list of top goalscorers in the UCL for League games - which wouldn't be too shabby.

Ah right, thanks!
And I agree, its about how you do against the better teams. I really don't know what happened to him, I still believe to completely drop him like that was a bit harsh on our top goalscorer, but he just became so anonymous in games over the last few months and I certainly was very frustrated knowing what he's capable of that he wasn't performing or utilising that great pace of his to its full potential. I hope we see him in a Diamonds shirt again, cause much like the rest of the fanbase I feel, I am a big fan of his considering how important he's been for the club up to now.
But I guess if we want the club to move forward, then there's no room for sentimentality over any players and if the management don't feel he's good enough to take us forward, then so be it.

It could simply be that Alfie was thinking the same as the rest of us; 'I'm not doing well enough, not scoring enough, etc', and getting into a rut like that in the way you think can really get you down. Hopefully he'll come back from BPW confident again and he'll be able to use that to play up to his ability. Fingers crossed next season he's as good as he can be.

Alfie drew a blank tonight with BPW losing 1-0 at home to Rothwell confirming what has been posted earlier.
