[ Sat 26th Apr ] v S&L Corby, KO 3pm UCLP AWAY
Re: [ Sat 26th Apr ] v S&L Corby, KO 3pm UCLP AWAY
I notice they had an attendance of 15 for the visit of Huntingdon on Monday afternoon - I think we might increase their average (24) somewhat - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/201314-senior-stats.

Really looking forward to this game actually. Not because I live 2 minutes away  just a good end to the season being on home turf. Although judging by the weather id bring your waterproofs... If anyone is arriving by train then I can provide walking directions, about 20 mins. Maybe about 4quid in a taxi, just pm me
If anyone is looking for a decent pub then a 2 minute walk away on rockingham road is the raven. Decent pub serving various beers and ales. Otherwise there is weatherspoons slightly further away nearer to steel park.
No doubt the attendance will dwarf anything they've seen this season. Let's hope we see double figures on the scoreline, I can hope

The "regulars" at Occupation Road might decide to take advantage of the fact that Corby Town are letting people in for free for their game against Bedford Town just down the road.

As there were only 15 home and away supporters for the Huntingdon match don't think they have any 'regulars'. The adjoining bowls clubs get bigger crowds.sussexdiamond wrote:All 25 of the "regulars".

Saturdays attendance will be what we take + 8 I would estimate.

Ha ha. Young man's game now Brownie, even you are too old. I'm sure Diamond Matt will give you the lowdown. ;)Brownie wrote: Was that the voice of authority speaking there Trek, always had you down as a closet bowls man.

Interesting to note that S&L have the lowest average attendance in the UCL Premier in each of the last three seasons. Mirrors the local apathy at Steel Park down the road.
