Go on then....

Guess which game i had to miss, my first missed home game for 2 years.
I think if you look up the definition of 'sods law' on the internet, this would probably be the description.
I went (on Friday) to Center Parcs with my girlfriend and her family, normally nothing comes before diamonds but it was a once-yearly opportunity so i decided to go.
I expected us to win, but 8 goals!!!!
Imagine my horror as i sat in the Sports Bar seeing 'Rushden 8-0 Gateshead (Downer 84)' flash up on the vidiprinter.
I am livid.
Repeat performance against Oxford or i will not be happy.

Did you see 8-0 flash up not having already been aware that we were 7 up?
If so you must have spat your drink out.

I feel for anyone that missed it. It was very much an 'I was there' game. I assume you'll be at the play-off final when we beat Oxford 3-0 though BR? I'm sure that'll make up for it.

I knew it was 7-0, i started getting annoyed once the 6th went in, then i just got angry.

Is it me or should certain people just stay away if we win like this when they are absent? ;)

Barrow at home was only 4-1, so not quite as bad as you thought ;)

Im always away this weekend of the year golfing with the lads, I was on the 17th hole at San Larenzo in the Algarve when I got the text
The same happened when we beat the wobblers a couple of years back
I think I might alter the weekend of my annual golf trip in future

Booking any kind of holiday in the football season is a no no, everyone knows that!

Au contraire, I think you should take more of them during the season! ;)
