Following on from the Chairman leaving, I see that today the managerial pairing of Jeff Stocking and Paul Appleton have resigned. Their captain, Edi Appleton, has also recently joined Corby Town.
Sounds like they're following Sileby.

Their AGM is today, I imagine that will now be quite interesting. If they are doing a Sileby then our visit to their place will be a joy to attend.

Yes hopefully we'll have happier memories than our last visit there, although it's a shame to see the back of Stocking, whose own understanding of the length of the 2012-13 season provided such comical amusement for us.
Is Jon Stevenson still on their books, does anyone know?

I guess so, as I noticed when I watched their end of season match against Harrowby, that he had been allowed to erect a fitness studio within the ground next to their seated stand.

I notice that Holbeach have now signed three players from Oadby's last season's squad.

Make that four, Jake Duffy has now signed for Holbeach. Rated him as a goal scoring midfielder.
Oadby must be candidates for a swift return to Division 1 whilst Holbeach could be the team to beat if the money doesn't run out!

The Oadby contingent must be on a fair wedge as there is a fair bit of travelling involved from Leicester to Holbeach. I can see Holbeach being a right pain in the arse this coming season!

Holbeach are certainly putting themselves out there as the big-spending favourites. Their ground when we played them last season wasn't one of the best in the UCL (then again neither was Spalding's) - does anyone know if Holbeach have the grading & will apply for promotion?

John Chand was goaded on facebook about Holbeach doing what they did a couple of years ago and was adamant they would be looking to go up. The proof of the pudding will be when it comes to applying for promotion though.
