Look at the badge they've used, oh dear

Shame they won't be bringing a full strength squad, but you can kind of understand that with a Leeds game 24 hours later, hopefully we should pick up another win.

I don't take friendly results that seriously, but losing to a bunch of kids, was it as bad as the result suggests?

It was OK, we played reasonably well and were the better side with no absolutely no luck in front of goal and got beaten by a great header in a rare Steelmen attack. Not worth losing any sleep over.

Yeah, we were probably the better side, lacking in the final third and while Lamb-Johnson is a promising and tricky player on the wing, he's got some work to do on his crossing, though he certainly has potential and I liked how he often had the strength to hold off his defender as well. Turner didn't do much, but what he did do looked decent and he had a particularly good run in the first half as well. The other new players looked all right, Confue looks good in the middle, but I'm wondering why Ling is still here? No offence to the guy, but I seriously don't feel he's good enough to be even on the bench tbh.
