Really looking forward to this....or should that be these!!

It'll be great to see a pretty full Dog & Duck for both games roaring on the lads to big performances and big results.

Every team we play raise their game against us...it's been like that since we started. Look at Cogenhoe's performance since they fought for a draw against us, and look at Thurnby's celebration after the game on Saturday.

The Doughboys will be no different but our lads love playing in that atmosphere at the Dog & Duck, it's why they play for us, and I see us roaring at them from the start and getting two big results.

Come on you Diamonds!!

Won't see much of the game since I'll be in the hut, but on big occasions like this I'm sure I'll hear plenty!

With all due respect to our groundmates, we should be putting them to the sword on boxing day and new year's day - looking forward to getting a chance to get back into our normal rhythm. Fingers crossed Santa Peaks brings us an exciting afternoon out!

Weather forecast doesn't look great. It's down to -1 on Christmas day overnight and then fog on Boxing day morning with a maximum temperature of 3 to 4 degrees.

As long as it doesn't piss it down why would that be a problem?

-1 = frost (frozen pitch).

Fog a.m. and very low temp = no thaw, or very slow thaw.

Is Alfie still at Welly?. He seems to have gone quiet lately.
Jake still only scoring penalties, so hope Finners has done his homewok as I am sure they will know about Jasons penalties.

Should be a decent crowd today. I predict 888. Here in Eastbourne it is dry but cold and cloudy, a very light frost. Off to the bandstand for dancing with 2000 others!, then the Sales, but back home in time for Radio Diamonds. (Postscript from Lady Sussex Diamond..."he should be so lucky!!"

888 seems like a good prediction to me, I was hoping we'd break 1000 for the first time at home what with us being top as well, but I'm not so sure, we'll have to see, think it'll be 900-950.
