It was good to hear Andy and the others be given 60 mins to discuss local non league soccer.
I do wish they would remember the AFC before saying Rushden and Diamonds.

We are completely off the radar for 70% of the footballing population and have been since we went bust, especially in national media (although Radio Northampton should know better). If and when we raise back up the leagues we will once again be in people's newspapers and websites more and people wont necessarily know the story and just refer to us as Rushden & Diamonds. I would get used to it, personally I don't mind it.

I agree, yes we are a reformed club, but still nevertheless a slightly different entity to the one that had such a painful demise, but it is something that continues to divide the fanbase and whenever I've spoken to anyone outside the local area about who I support, they will instantly reply with 'Oh right, Rushden and Diamonds', having heard of the old club, but not really heard of the new club.
