Tonights Match Thread...

Hopefully will go a hell of a lot better than last week, and more like 2 weeks ago!

AFC Wimbledon v Barrow
Gateshead v Wrexham
Grays Athletic v Stevenage
Kidderminster v York
Mansfield v Altrincham

Salisbury v Forest Green

I think we now are realistically out of the title challenge. Only a miraculous slip from Luton and Stevenage will allow this, and we would have to win more games than I think we are able to with this tough run in.

The focus has to be on Mansfield, York and Wimbledon (and Crawley who aren't playing tonight/Scum however I think they are all but out of the running), who along with us are competing for those final two places.

I think that Wimbledon should win at home to Barrow, but on the back of trophy success, Barrow will be buzzing.

Kidderminster is never an easy place to go (**laughs as he remembers Stevenage won 5-1 there recently**) but still, this could be a tricky one for York.

I can see Mansfield winning at home to Altrincham. By all accounts, we destroyed Altrincham, so would expect Mansfield to win. Won't be a gimme though, you only have to look at Altrinchams league position and results on the road to see that. (Beat us 1-0, have won at hard places such as Tamworth, and got draws at places like Stevenage)

If Grays get anything against Stevenage, it will make me laugh. All in all, a big night of football, these Tuesday nights are becoming a bit of a frequent occurance at the moment. :D

I have a feeling Wimbledon will have quite a hard time beating Barrow... yes, they are just one place above the relegation spots, but they have anywhere between 2 and 7 games in hand on the teams around them!

Hopefully some of the teams playing tonight can do us some favours in the table :)

If it was at Barrow i would agree as they have a half decent home record, believe they held Luton to a draw there a few weeks ago but at Wombles place, dont see it happening myself
