Scott Joseph

Scott Joseph has just put up on Facebook that he's left the club/leaving the club, hasn't announced where he's going. It's a shame, as he's scored some quality goals for us but I guess he's not happy with where he is in the pecking order.

I think you will find the problem lies with the player not the club.

Doesn't help that he can't drive and found it difficult to get to training and games. A shame, because on his day he was quality.

A replacement striker is required ASAP then, one with proven goalscoring ability i'd imagine.

I'm so disappointed with this news, and to top it all off he's joined a league rival!

He'll probably have left St Ives by the time we play them.

Such as shame, as I think he could have started most games. Always looked a threat.

Slightly confused as to why he's signed for St Ives though.

Don't usually comment on players for obvious reasons, but please let's get real. Scott is a fantastic impact player for max 30 mins which is when he has been at his best for us. Whenever he has started he has been poor for one simple reason, he has to lower his effort & work rate to try and last 90 mins normally making him ineffective. He is a nice lad & a talented footballer but sadly lacks any self discipline to a point he's even joked about his junk food eating habits. Nailed on he'll score against us but that's life. Much as I like the lad and I do, you can't have the professionalism most of this forum demands within the Club & Scotty. I wish him all the best in the future & look forward to seeing who our next signing is, which I'm sure Peaksy is working on as I write this.

I agree with you, I think it's a shame Scott left, with him being a threat to opponents by scoring goals. (joining a local rival, St Ives) hopefully he would have left them before we play them.

Just hope he doesn't score against us.
