thats all we need now to cement our place in the play offs.
after yesterdays fantastic result im starting to really believe we can do this......

looking at the table wimbledon are still in the best pos to break into the top 5 with 2 games in hand on mansfield and K*ttering if both games are won along with all of their remaining games that would put them on 79 points meaning 4 wins out of 7 for us and we are there no matter what.

we all know its very unlikely that wimbledon or any of the other teams just outside the playoffs will win ALL of their games but to make it mathematicly impossible for anyone to catch us 12 points is whats needed.

its a nice thought that if we beat K*ttering away on tue and then crawley at home on fri we will probably only need 1 win out of kiddie away or ebbsfleet at home to be in the playoffs.

come on boys we are so close!

Crawley & Ebbsfleet at home. Thats 2 games we should be taking 6 points from.

Tbh, looking at the gap and the form of the teams below the top 5, I'd say 3 wins would be enough actually. K*ttering are still crap at home and not even that good away from home at the moment either, Mansfield have only won 1 in 5 and AFC Wimbledon only 1 in 6 and a poor result against Barrow, so really can't see how any of those 3 are going to even be able to put up a fight to get into the playoffs really. Won't be that easy to even get 3 wins with the games we've got coming up but I expect we'll beat K*ttering, Crawley, Ebbsfleet and at least one of Kiddy, Mansfield or Wrexham so I think we'll be safely in the playoffs by the Wrexham, or Luton games

That's what iwas thinking looking at the games negatively i can still see us getting a win against ebbsfleet and crawley and a point at mansfield, kiddy and scum, so that should do us!! great news


On a seperate note you know that bird carried out a flag at oxford, well it's my birthday against the scum should i carry a flag out there? if that's what people are doing now ;)

I said to my old man this morning i think we need 3 wins. Ideally two of them will be against Mansfield and K*ttering.

I can't see Mansfield getting any more than 9 points from their 6 remaining games.

AFC Wimbledon are the most likely (if any) to break into the top 5, but as we saw yesterday, they're just not good enough.

If we don't make the play-offs now we need our bums kicking to be honest !!

If we make it then we're into a Cup scenario, all bets are off !! Who do I want? I'll take anyone, it'll just be great to be involved. I've got a funny feeling that IF we make it, we'll be meeting Oxford in the semi's !! Dunno why, just a feeling in my water !!
