It can be done!
Thought Ralph did a very good job yesterday, that's massive news/massive bonus that the stand doesn't have to be demolished in order for us to be there. Let's stay in Rushden.

To the Mighty Diamonds.

Not too much of a surprise on the decision to be honest and I believe the right one was made ...

Started watching the old Rushden Town at Hayden rd somewhere about 51 yrs ago, witha green and white bobble hat for first team games and a blue and white for reserve games. Interesting ,which i think will put about 15-20% on our gates. Lets get going.

At a guess I would say that the R&D twitter feed has had extra subscribers.

Do you mean the name, Doug? I don't know what 'cudges' refers to but Higham Town were, apparently, known as 'the lankies'.

Thanks that is what I wanted to know. cudge is probably a person.

So why the lankies? Did they only ever have tall skinny players. :joy:

In it's early days Higham played on Lancaster fields, and the name was shortened to Lankies to give them their nickname.
