If we beat Rugby on Tuesday we wont be playing Lincoln, they lost 2-3 at home to Grantham yesterday.

Sure everyone is aware but if not keep an eye on traffic updates, the M1 northbound has been shut since 3am this morning with no known time for reopening, sadly a body found on the road.
Becoming quite a challenge our League Cup campaign, 4 attempts to play Corby.

M1 re-opened at Midday, so probably ok now.

A14 (Eastbound - so other way when going to game) is currently shut due to a lorry accident, so very slow at present.

Brownie - Burger Monster Haydn is desperate for a lift and i'm sure he'd be glad to take you up on this. He lives in Wellingborough. If you're able to help drop me a PM and i'll get his phone number for you.

Pretty good game for a League Cup tie. 6 changes from last game but mostly subs stepping up plus Robbie Parsons starting..strong looking side.
Too good for Rugby who tried hard but were poor whenever they got near our box. Back four were solid.
Ben Farrell was brilliant....2 goals and commanding performance with Joe Curtis giving excellent support.
Robbie Parsons showed some great touches but frustrated as ever with choices in final third.
Cool penalty from Farrell on 6, strange equaliser on 40 as ball came back off bar and wasn't cleared (all behind a post for me on Radio Diamonds!!), stunning strike for Farrell two minutes later and cracking volley from Taylor Orosz finished it off on 80.
Into last 16....along with Stourbridge!!

I notice Spalding also won last night, so they'll probably be paired with Grantham in the next round. There aren't too many options left for us given the lack of South Midlands sides left -

Perhaps we'll get Chasetown, although they may be paired with Stourbridge, leaving us with the possibility of an even longer trip if we are given an away tie - especially if Basford lose next week.
