We obviously know all about Purse and Appleton and we're certainly in need of a CB or two. Andrew Kemp is a Goalkeeper who won the Supporter's Player Of The Year award at Stratford Town three seasons in a row before taking a year out of the game this season.

Well we've got a huge squad in the run in now then. We had a strong side and bench on Saturday and Quigley, Harris, Brown-hill and Curtis weren't involved. Be a few leaving before the end of the season I'd imagine.

Darren Purse only recently signed for Bishops Stortford from Chesham after they sacked their manager, whom I believe have today appointed Daniel Talbot as their new joint manager.

Purse played one game for us a couple of seasons ago and Edi Appleton 6 games in Nov/Dec 2015.

As this is an AFC Rushden & Diamonds forum I thought the answer to the first question was fairly obvious. Also quite obvious (I thought) that I hadn't just randomly generated a few names. Apologies for not providing a couple of links in the OP.

Good to see a couple of experienced CB's signed, as much as we have a few within the squad who can play there, can do and have done a decent job with 9 season defining league games + hopefully something after that coming up the right personnel in their correct positions could be critical.
