Just heard Gary Mills been sacked at Corby Town. Sounds very harsh to me. Thought he had turned things around..

I think it's ridiculous, he's taken a team that were certainly down and turned them into a team with some chance of staying up. Bizarre.

Yeah, sack a manager who won the double in his first full season, got to the play off final the next season and is still in the hunt for the playoffs this one.

They were, up to a month ago, but they were on a bad run over the last 5 matches and it would appear that Mills was unhappy with a few things 'behind the scenes'.

I'd be happy to explain the recruitment process to you Ivor, if it would help you to realise that appointing Peaksy was most certainly not just the easy option. And regardless of what you make of his current performance, I'd say winning the UCL Premier by 11 points in his first full season justified his appointment 100%.
