Re: Hayden Road - Pitch Maintenance Updates
More progress this week... Pitch lines now restrung and initial marking done.
Also the Ball Catcher net has been repaired and re-fixed all the way across at the left hand end behind goal, so hopefully a few less balls in the houses behind..though am sure the subs will do their best as always to clear that.
Other volunteers at the ground this week have been working on leaf litter clearance far side, jet washing stands/paths etc.., Yellow hashing (no-standing areas) refresh, and Home/Away changing room floor repainting as well.
Over the next few weeks additional paint refreshing, relevant hashing/zones and signage will be put in place ahead of any return of fans to the ground at a time to be determined - the aim is to have all basic works done in August anyway.

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch Maintenance Updates
As we get toward the start of pitch usage (Behind closed doors of course for now) at Hayden Road in the coming weeks, our regular volunteers have been completing the priority works at the ground with David Taylor co-ordinating onsite.
o General Jet washing around ground/stands etc..
o Yellow Hatching All refreshed around site.
o Black metal painting - various areas.
o Paint ready for other "zones" as required - Red Zone/Blue Zone etc..
o Changing Rooms (Home/Away) repainted - final coat being done by Tim today.
o Seat Polishing in progress
o Weed spraying/strimming/bins/general ground tidy as always.
o Plus a few other actions ahead of pre-crowd (Behind Closed Doors - Teams only) access.
Then additional works will be done ahead of any crowds for Covid regulations - as co-ordinated by the Club Covid Team.
The pitch had a fresh cut yesterday - and recent treatment seems to have done well. MarkP intends to get goalposts in and scuffed goalkeeper boot scraping lower areas painted this week).
You can see the refreshed yellow hatch marks on here too.

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch & Ground Maintenance Updates
Mark completed the final pitch prep today, ahead of RHUFC's first match at Hayden Road tomorrow - a Pre Season friendly behind closed doors versus Rothwell... You just knew Abbo was still going to get first HR pitch usage even when he's not R&HUFC manager any more.

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch & Ground Maintenance Updates
Glenis has now completed all the seat cleaning at the ground.
Yellow lines have been refreshed all around with a few of our volunteers over the last few weeks - plenty of masking tape and knee pads needed.
A few additional (temp) areas will be added for current restrictions where access is tight, as well as Red Zone (Old Main Stand Area).
Also some planning for the new perimeter advertising boards after the Shirt Sponsor Raffle, and some more green fence painting/refresh for worn areas.
(Thanks to Glenis for the picture - taken yesterday whilst seat cleaning).

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch & Ground Maintenance Updates
Ahead of the return of limited numbers of fans next week for our Pre-Season Games (see elsewhere for ticket access etc..), some final scheduled works are in progress at the ground today, given it's a dry day.
RHUFC did have a match at Hayden Road last night v Cogenhoe, so pitch pics post match.
All the work was on schedule, just a few items brought slightly forward given the change in dates for fan access announced in the last few days. We were always working to end of August deadline anyway - so only a few days difference.
o Additional painted Yellow, Red Zone (Tunnel Area), and Blue (Barrier/Open Terrace steps/1m) minimal spacing markings being put in place.
o General strimming etc..all around/behind DeBanke etc..
o Turnstiles being given their usual spring clean/jet wash/refresh...by the Turnstile man himself - Matt.
Due to limited volunteers this off-season a few repairs (wood replacement/repairs)/updates have not been completed as yet - but hopefully will be done in the Autumn before the wetter weather returns.

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch & Ground Maintenance Updates
As you'll have seen from other videos etc.. the initial phase of work and covid specific marking is completed, though may evolve over coming games. A one way system will operate during the game as per directions in the ground (with area from Dugouts being reverse for exit at end of match).
Pitch looking good this morning. Cut and Lined yesterday pm ahead of match.
