A quick question on purchasing numbers. I noticed last evening that after buying my tix there were more concession/ child tix available than adult. Are these "interchangeable" on the website so we sell to whoever we can? For example if we sold out of adult tix but we have others available can we still sell tix to adults on a first come basis?

I just assume this just means 40 (or so) of the Season Ticket holders didn't come. We would give out the actual number through the gate and physically in the ground. Effectively the other 40 or so have paid previously but not in the ground. I think we also pre-allocate a set number of Directors tickets per Southern Leagie requirements - and often those are only partially taken up too.

Of course if a Season Ticket holder is away and not planning to attend they could perhaps let the club know, and the balance of tickets for sale which is Covid Capacity minus Season Tickets, and then that "extra slot" could potentially be sold. But that would start to get messy to administer perhaps.

That is the face value assumption that can be easily accepted and/or disproved as each Season Ticket holder’s card is swiped at the turnstile. However it is naive for the club to assume that there will be 100% attendance from our 162 season ticket holders. I know it is not an exact science to calculate the current 450 permitted capacity but merely looking around the ground this afternoon it was clearly evident to me that more than another 40 can safely attend and perhaps it would more pragmatic from us to revise our maximum permitted attendance.

As you say, it's not an exact science and is done with the best intentions for both the club and the fans, and is always based on opinions combined with the ground capacity and flows, and relevant guidance from the authorities etc.. The relevant Club Group regularly look at this after each match to see if any changes can be made to capacity or the process, as has been seen in previous changes to flows etc.
