Those specific pics benefit from Twitter's image compression algorithms as those were just saved from Mark's Feed direct from twitter so I could repost them here.

Pitch update July 16th per MarkP (on Twitter) - still doing early morning late evening watering to keep the grass at least partly ok.

The struggle is real. Probably the most challenging build up to a new season pitch wise. Desperate for rain. With only 3 mobile sprinklers/4bar overall I’m starting to lose the battle. Especially with Mon/Tues forecast.

Despite that it’s ready for the next @RandHUFC friendly.

Ongoing overnight watering continues in order to protect the pitch. Also Tim was up to do some Danish Oil treatment to keep the bench protected. A few more coats needed over the coming weeks.

Foreground grass shows what the pitch would look like without any watering. Due to the lack of natural moisture and to avoid stress we're still yet to apply the selective weedkiller to kill of some of the invasive weeds that get into the grass surface, hopefully with rain in later August/September we'll get that sprayed on so weeds die off and grass recovers whilst it still growing strong until mid October normally - maybe longer this year.

Bench having a few coats of Danish Oil to protect it and feed the wood, prevent cracking etc..

A few other minor fence repairs and painting ongoing also - as wood so expensive currently mostly doing patching rather than replacing full boards.
