Bloody good workout and effort against a very quick Brackley. First half we struggled against the pace, but second half we rolled up our sleeves and put in a good shift. Evan was head and shoulders above everyone else and I look forward to seeing him play alongside Fossen.
Pretty solid team structure but still got Furlong on the wrong side.
Courtney needs some turn and sprint training before we start in earnest.

Really happy after tonight. Seems a totally different team compared to recent. Evan was quality,Sneds same old, Ngwa so quick . Impressed with Sutherland, him and cooper look good. Rajani looed decent for a small lightweight 17yr old .
Nice to see Burg coaching before game . Hicks & another player doing sprint training before game. Also we now do pre game warm up in the de banke half , and we’ve swapped dug outs . Changing it up a bit!
Very impressed with us tonight against the strongest defence I’ve seen at Hayden Park ever, no wonder they only conceded 23 goals last season

"Courtney needs some sprint training"
the kid is pretty quick & mobile... stead & the winger are absolutely rapid mate! Might need RM 250 to catch them not sprint training.

Difference between that, and the last game I saw at Stamford, was night and day. Still think there's a long way to go but the improvement in the last couple of weeks has been massive.

Things have come a long way over the last week, followed via socials, seems like the ex Canvey Island defender is quite the player, lets hope we can keep hold of him. Really looking forward to seeing how this new, relatively young team does in the league and of course who else we bring in before the opener.

I said TURN and sprint training. He's quick but when he got turned by a nippy player he lagged behind over 5 to 10 yards. He walks like he has flat feet, so maybe needs his arches strengthening? He can cross a ball though.
They were really quick

My first time seeing the team this pre season and whilst it’s only pre season I was much more impressed than some on this forum have implied.
Evan and Cooper look absolute quality, and I was very impressed with Connor first half too.
We’ve now got a team of players who want to be here and are bought into the way Andy operates, things should only improve but even if we have a tough start I hope everyone gives time and sticks with the team.
