I well and truly doff my cap to anybody travelling to Leiston on a Tuesday night, it's a sod to get to on a Saturday let alone midweek.
If you can't make it to Leiston then Rushden & Higham are at Hayden Road on Tuesday against Moulton in some sort of Spartan South Midlands Cup match.

As others have said - full credit to anybody making this trip tonight. I did go across to the previous 2 Tuesday night fixtures there, but draw the line at this one!

Well played to anyone who does go. I was planning on doing the journey but changed my mind a few weeks back. I’m sure we all go to games never expecting to win them all and there has been many games when we probably thought we were obviously going to get beat. The problem at the moment is that a lot of the fanbase disagree with the current manager and also you need to think you gave a chance no matter how small that chance may be. Unfortunately at the moment most think there is no chance of a result, we are barely mustering a shot on target so to win away at a decent team on a Tuesday night a long way away is only for the hardcore at the moment.

As the two signings we've made so far under Richard Maxwell haven't been announced on the website, I don't think we could rule out a new signing or two appearing in the lineup tonight.ChappoC wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 12:27 pm Every player on the pitch is free to have a shot so the reluctance to do that shows there is a lot of coaching work to be done. I would be happier if the players were getting in to good positions and taking shots that missed than being shot shy all together.
I was hoping the experienced striker that Richard Maxwell spoke about in his interview with AFCRDTV would be signed and in the squad for tonight but that's not looking likely and probably wouldn't make much difference, we need at least 5 quality signings just to be sure that if someone goes off injured we have someone capable to replace him with.
