I expect we are all getting excited as the World Cup kicks off for England Monday lunchtime and Wales in the evening. At the moment I am finding it hard to drum up much emphusiasm but once England start smashing in the goals I am sure I will be singing "" it's comin' home". Don't tell me the Women have already done that, cos they ain't. They won Euros not the World Cup. So let's run on this thread with match predictions and comments. First thing to consider is will Hitchin game next week still clash with Wales v USA. If England win Group they play last 16 match whilst Diamonds are at home to Alvechurch!!. C'mon on England (or Wales)

Apparently our email to FIFA requesting that they move their fixtures because we had a home game on the same day, bounced back as "unknown error".

I would have thought Hitchin would have switched our game to Tuesday to avoid Wales match. But I suppose its Only Wales.

I think Diamonds should play Qatar in a friendly if we want to win a game sometime soon. Today two nil England. Wales/USA one one.
