AFC Diamonds on EasyFundraising

Post by Adrian »

A few days ago I mentioned a site that earned money for football clubs when people purchased from various retailers, I have just found it.

I also notice AFC Diamonds already have an account on there, see here: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/caus ... ?from404=1

I am not sure if money raised there goes to the club? or to AFC Diamonds Walking Football Club?

Or if the account is still active.

With the Andy Burgess era overspending on the player budget, the cost of living rising, the cost of energy rising and the likelihood of games being called off, we are probably at a point where every little penny helps.

Tesco, Marks n Sparks, Curry's, Amazon, eBay, Pets At Home, Argos and John Lewis are just a few, I would be surprised if there isn't anyone on here who will be making a Christmas purchase online from one of them.

If someone can verify with the club that they are the owners of the account perhaps we can start raising a few more pounds.
  • Play it out from the back.
  • 1 up front.
  • Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

We certainly used to have that facility - I remember publishing stories about it on the OWS in its original design - e.g. https://www.afcdiamonds.com/raise-club- ... -you-shop/

Quite whether it is still current would be the domain of the Fundraising team - I'd guess Glenis would be a good person to contact - see the latest message about the Quiz Night for contact details.
