Why do i get the feeling its taboo to comment on pre season friendlies,,,im going to comment on last nights game,,,the first half i thought was pretty decent,,,we played some good stuff and if we lost it,we were pretty eager to hunt them down,,,,it was tough to get through their brickwall of a defence, but we possibly could/should have been a couple up by half time, im not going to harp on about any negatives,i have a couple,,,but want to comment on some plusses,,,,,eni looks sharp and willing to go forward, john dean ,if he stays fit ,looks a handfull ,harriman looks solid,as does luke,,,ben garwood looks as though he's up for a fight,,,but the best player ,in my eyes ,last night, was aaron smith,,,did very little wrong, won most of his dules, whether it was a header or on the floor,,,,,ho and sorry brownie,,,what a throw,,,,secound half was a bit huff and puff,,,ho forgot to mention, big T at the back, sorry cant rember his name,, solid performance and looks a promising find ,,still more to do,but looks good :good:

Way better game from the team. Glennon was good and as a whole we controlled Kempston for large portions of the game. A slight stumble after half time but we got the goal back.
Kerins looks composed with a football head on his shoulders . Great addition. Defence was good on the whole. Dean was good again when coming on. Decision making up front needs to improve but hopefully that comes with game time. Jones should have scored his chance like Johnston did.

Positive steps!
