Great to see two new signings in the areas where we need to improve and the experience they bring to the club will undoubtedly help the youngsters improve their game, well done Chris

Just need a central midfield player of experience now, then we'll have a more solid spine to the team. Lets hope these new players can make an instant impact

I wonder if Corby will allow Edge to play next week in Trophy. I seem to recall if we win we play Anstey or Corby in following round.

Two good players to have on board, they may be on the fringe of teams we would hope to be competing with, but nevertheless are both very experienced and Edge is actually a proven goalscorer which should come in handy to try and get us out of this hole.

Though still don't quite get the Dylan Edge situation, it's a full signing, not dual registration or a loan, but Corby can have back in a month or two? Sounds like a loan to me, so we want him to do well, but not too well as otherwise Corby will want him back.

A player can only be signed as a loan if they are on a contract at the club they’re coming from. Edge clearly isn’t as we’ve been told he’s a full transfer (it also can’t be a dual registration as the two clubs play in the same league) so even with a manager-to-manager agreement any move back to Corby (or anywhere else) will still be subject to the 7 day approach rules.
My guess is that if Corby want him back, the 7 days will be waived. Additionally, a player must be registered for a full 14 days at a club before they can move on anywhere else (unless they’re a keeper).
